Menu photo checklist

Phone checklist for a paper menu. Checks stay on this device.

• Hold the phone parallel to the page. Fill the frame with the menu, not the table.
• If the sheet is larger than the phone, shoot one section at a time and overlap the edges.
• Open a bound booklet flat, or shoot each leaf. Steep top-down into a gutter hides lines.
• Move until lamp glare is off the text. Skip a hard flash square-on to laminate.
• If the room is dim, rest the phone on the table edge and use a side lamp.

A small serve of spirits, often 30–44 ml depending on the country.
